When filing a complaint with the Texas Private Security Bureau, please include:

The Texas Private Security Bureau investigates complaints involving:

Investigation Process
Once you file a complaint with the Private Security Bureau:
- Receipt & Review: DPS will acknowledge receipt and review the complaint
- Investigation: If warranted, DPS will investigate the allegations
- Response: The licensed company/individual will be given opportunity to respond
- Determination: DPS will make a determination based on evidence
- Action: If violations are found, DPS may take disciplinary action including:
- Written warnings
- Administrative penalties ($500 - $10,000 per violation)
- License suspension
- License revocation
- Criminal charges (in serious cases)
